The Branch Manager will oversee the operations of the branch. The incumbent will work with his/her team members, customers, and suppliers to solve specific challenges and maintain growth opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of branch employees to successfully attain business objectives and growth.
- Promote the Tenaquip brand at end-user sites via in-person calls
- Lead VMI programs in branch markets, including delivery and replenishment of product at customer sites
- Lead and generate net new business in local markets
- Maintain accurate inventory
- Resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Opening and closing of Branch, oversee cash deposit activity.
- Review customer and Branch inventory requirements and ensure commitments are being met
- Help plan/maintain facility layout to promote safety, security, and productivity while leveraging available space.
- Responsible for the cost-effective requisition of needed equipment, supplies, and outsourced services with acceptable suppliers.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in managing a team, preferably from an Industrial Distribution background.
- Ability to operate a Forklift (certification) is a must
- Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and presentation
- Skilled in coaching and developing team members.
- Ability to attain objectives through delegating and managing teams.
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Ability to travel and gain access to remote mine sites
