Job description:
We are looking for a Bartender at Maurizio’s with an in-depth knowledge of delicious classic cocktails, desire to craft signature drinks, decent wine knowledge and a flair for creating memorable guests’ experiences, bringing energy and personality to every interaction.
What you will be doing as a Bartender:
- Creating a positive guest experience through interaction and adherence to the steps of service;
- Providing guest with food & beverage suggestions, while taking in consideration preferences, allergies, and dietary restrictions;
- Promptly receive drink order chits and prepare beverages;
- Communicating beverage descriptions, special and information to guests and team members;
- Stocking and maintaining all bar products including mise en place;
- Checking and maintaining beer keg and liquor levels;
- Counting and taking inventory of all beverages and supplies and assist manager with inventory ordering;
- Such other related duties and responsibilities as may be required from time to time.
The person we are looking for has:
- A valid Smart Serve Certification;
- Moderate wine, beer and classic cocktail knowledge;
- Passion for food, beverage and providing excellent customer service;
- Excellent observation skills & high attention to detail, offering a helping hand to all guests whenever needed, before they even need to ask;
- Strong communication skills.
