About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join a growing corporate team in Concord, Vaughan.
This is a strategic HR role that will partner closely with leadership to align people initiatives with business objectives while supporting employee engagement, organizational development, performance management, employee relations, and talent acquisition.
The ideal candidate is a well-rounded HR professional who can operate strategically while remaining hands-on, with strong experience in both HR Business Partnering and Talent Acquisition.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted HR advisor to corporate leadership, providing guidance and solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Partner with HR leadership to develop and implement people strategies that support organizational goals.
- Analyze workforce trends and recommend solutions related to employee engagement, retention, development, and organizational effectiveness.
- Own the end-to-end recruitment and selection process for corporate positions.
- Develop and execute effective talent acquisition and candidate sourcing strategies.
- Lead performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, coaching, and feedback.
- Support learning and development initiatives and employee career growth.
- Provide guidance and coaching to employees and managers on employee relations matters.
- Support employee engagement and retention initiatives, including employee surveys and feedback analysis.
- Manage conflict resolution and sensitive employee situations with professionalism and discretion.
- Support the implementation of HR programs related to compensation and benefits, diversity and inclusion, wellness, recognition, and training.
- Ensure HR policies and practices remain aligned with applicable employment legislation and workplace requirements.
- Partner with leadership during organizational changes, restructurings, transformations, and other business initiatives.
- Provide coaching and support throughout periods of organizational change.
- Utilize HR analytics and workforce data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to leadership.
- Monitor key HR metrics, including turnover, engagement, and retention, and recommend opportunities for improvement.
- Support additional HR projects and initiatives as required.
Qualifications & Experience
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in an HR Business Partner or similar strategic HR role.
- 4+ years of Talent Acquisition experience, preferably within a corporate environment.
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, sourcing strategies, and candidate selection.

- Strong communication, facilitation, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Analytical and results-oriented approach with the ability to translate HR data into practical business recommendations.
Technical Skills:
- Microsoft Office Suite
- HRIS platforms, preferably Ceridian Dayforce
- Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Employee recognition and rewards platforms
- Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
Communication Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees, managers, and senior leadership.
- Comfortable presenting to groups and facilitating training sessions.
The role may occasionally require visits to manufacturing, warehouse, and sample room areas. All applicable workplace health and safety requirements must be followed.
Some flexibility outside standard working hours may occasionally be required to support business needs, organizational initiatives, and project deadlines.
