Salary: $50,000–$58,000, commensurate with experience. The TCC also provides employee benefits coverage.

About TCCToronto Children’s Chorus is a leading youth choral organization serving approximately 300 children and youth through multiple choirs and programs. As we prepare for our 50th Anniversary in 2027/28, we are strengthening our administrative team and systems to support the organization’s continued growth.
The RoleThe Director of Operations & Administration is responsible for the day-to-day administrative and operational functioning of TCC. This is a hands-on position for an organized, resourceful person who enjoys keeping many moving pieces on track and making systems work better.
Working closely with the Executive Director, Artistic Director, Associate Artistic Director and other staff, the Director ensures that TCC’s programs, people and administrative processes are well supported.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee day-to-day administration, calendars, and operational logistics.
- Manage registration, tuition administration and routine chorister/family communications.
- Coordinate financial administration, payments, invoices, budget tracking and financial reporting in collaboration with the Executive Director and Finance Officer.
- Manage TCC’s administrative systems, databases and technology platforms, including TUIO and Airtable.
- Coordinate facilities, supplies, uniforms and office administration.
- Provide operational support for rehearsals, concerts, camps and domestic/international tours.
- Oversee the administrative aspects of music ordering, copyright and licensing.
- Coordinate bursary administration and support the Bursary Committee.
- Provide administrative support to the Board and committees.
- Support fundraising initiatives and events in collaboration with the Development Officer and Executive Director.
- Develop and maintain clear documentation, archival, and record-keeping systems to strengthen TCC’s institutional memory and internal knowledge base.
What We’re Looking For- 3–5+ years of experience in operations, administration, arts administration, nonprofit management or a related field.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable with financial administration and technology systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A practical, collaborative and solutions-oriented approach.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Experience with databases, TUIO, Airtable or similar platforms is an asset.
- Experience in a nonprofit or arts organization is an asset.
Working at TCCThis is a primarily in-person position at TCC’s Toronto office, with regular evening and occasional weekend work for rehearsals, concerts, camps and other activities.
