Original job description
Title: Curtain Wall Fabricator
Location: Etobicoke, ON
Company: Triumph Group of Companies
Reports To: Marc Chevrier, Plant Supervisor
Role Overview
The Curtain Wall Fabricator is the backbone of the Commercial Window Wall and Curtain Wall department at our Primeline Windows and Doors plant in Etobicoke, stepping into a role that the current fabricator has run solo for years as he heads into retirement. You will read fabrication and shop drawings for curtain wall and window wall systems, then cut, drill, and assemble the work to precise measurements, operating with minimal day to day supervision and reporting to Plant Supervisor Marc Chevrier. The real skill here is not the cutting itself, it is understanding a drawing well enough to execute it correctly the first time and catching a measurement or interpretation error before it becomes a problem on the floor. You will also be a main point of contact between the shop floor and project managers, so being comfortable communicating across that wider group of stakeholders matters as much as the technical work. As the department grows beyond one person, there is room to help bring others up to speed and take on a more senior role within it.
What We Offer
- Hourly wage of $30.00 to $35.00 (commensurate with experience)
- Group benefits coverage
- Full-time, non-union hourly position

Attributes
- Comfortable operating independently with minimal day to day supervision
