Role Summary:
Hydro One is seeking a Power Platform Administrator to support the ongoing administration, governance, and sustainment of Microsoft Power Platform across the organization. This role will help manage day-to-day operational requests, support incidents involving Power Apps and Power Automate, provide guidance to citizen developers and business app owners, and help operationalise the governance outcomes from the Power Platform Citizen Developer Enablement and Governance initiative.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Power Platform Admin Team, M365 Sustainment, Data Analytics & AI, Enterprise Architecture, business stakeholders, and application owners to ensure Power Platform solutions are secure, supportable, compliant, and aligned with Hydro Oneâs environment strategy, app compliance criteria, licensing model, and maker enablement framework.
This role is especially suited to someone who can troubleshoot undocumented or lightly documented Canvas Apps and Power Automate flows, translate governance requirements into practical support actions, and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical makers.

Required Experience
- Hands-on experience administering or supporting Microsoft Power Platform, especially Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Platform Admin Center, environments, connectors, DLP policies, and maker support.
- Experience troubleshooting Canvas Apps and Power Automate flows, including solutions with minimal documentation, unclear ownership, expired connections, access issues, or undocumented dependencies.
- Experience supporting citizen developers or business users, including explaining technical constraints, governance expectations, and appropriate solution patterns.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID security groups, SharePoint lists, Teams, and ServiceNow or similar ITSM intake/fulfilment processes.
- Experience maintaining structured work items in Azure DevOps or a similar backlog/task-tracking platform.
- Strong written communication skills for maker outreach, governance notifications, support responses, and documentation updates.
- Ability to work with business sponsors, app owners, platform admins, Enterprise Architecture, security, privacy, and operations teams.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with Power Platform CoE Starter Kit, governance reporting, maker inventory, orphaned asset management, and compliance automation.
- Experience with Power Platform licensing models, including Power Apps Premium, Power Automate Premium, pay-as-you-go usage, auto-claim policies, and licence optimisation.
- Experience with ALM concepts, solution-aware development, Dev/Test/Prod patterns, and environment migration.
- Familiarity with CyberArk or privileged/service-account management processes.
- Familiarity with privacy, data classification, support model definition, RACI development, and operational runbooks.
- Experience supporting remediation programmes, particularly where apps and flows must be classified, documented, migrated, excepted, or decommissioned.
This role is a Hybrid in office role with a mandatory 2-days a week

Min Pay Rate: $70
Max Pay Rate: $82
