Original job description
This course is designed as a thematic introduction to the academic discipline of Kinesiology. The course surveys the basic concepts, theories and analytical methods of Kinesiology and their application to the study of human movement in recreation, sport, exercise and physical activity. Weekly sessions include three lectures and one tutorial. KIN 1001 is restricted to students registered in the Faculty of Kinesiology.Only open to students admitted to the faculty of Kinesiology, Pre-req or consent of instructor.Master's degree in Kinesiology or a combination of education and experience.This course is 4ch (3ch for lecturing MWF @ 1230-120pm (lecture), and one 1ch for a lab section Monday @ 1:30-2:20). Other labs throughout the week are the responsibilities of the TAs of the course. This course is co-taught with G.
