The Senior Cook works as part of a collaborative and dynamic team in a new, modern, well-equipped commercial kitchen in order to prepare daily nutritious meals while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in eating and prep areas.
Qualifications
- Minimum of Three (3) years’ related experience.
- Equivalent combination of education training and experience will also be considered.
- Completed Grade 12 along with a recognized twelve (12) month program in cooking.
Requirements
- Food Safe Level 1 and Level 2.
- Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General Criminal Record Check.
Job Information
Hourly Wage Rate: $29.22– $33.54.
Days of Work: Tuesday to Saturday.
Shift Time: Tuesday and Wednesday at Crosstown from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm., and Thursday to Saturday at The Lily from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Total Weekly Hours: 37.50.
Union: BCGEU.
Work Location: 560 Burnside Road East - Crosstown and at 953 Balmoral Rd - The Lily.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent.
