Duration - Contract for 204 days with 4 time of extension

We are seeking a Senior PeopleSoft Functional / Quality Assurance Lead with strong experience in PeopleSoft HCM, HR/Payroll, functional leadership, and QA/testing.
The successful candidate will provide senior functional expertise and project leadership for the analysis, design, configuration, and testing of an enterprise PeopleSoft HCM HR/Payroll environment. The role will also lead functional and QA teams through upgrades, enhancements, integrations, and end-to-end testing activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide senior functional expertise, project leadership, and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead PeopleSoft HCM functional analysis, design, configuration, and implementation.
- Provide functional guidance to clients, business stakeholders, and project teams.
- Lead functional teams consisting of system analysts and senior functional analysts.
- Analyze, evaluate, prioritize, and resolve functional issues and defects.
- Support PeopleSoft PUM upgrades, PeopleTools upgrades, new features, and Fluid UI changes.
- Lead testing activities for the enterprise HR/Payroll environment.
- Plan and execute functional, system integration, load, performance, UAT, and payroll parallel testing.
- Establish and maintain QA processes, standards, methodologies, and testing practices.
- Manage defect identification, tracking, prioritization, resolution, and reporting.
- Identify opportunities to improve PeopleSoft configuration, testing quality, and overall delivery efficiency.
- Coordinate with technical, functional, QA, business, and project management teams.
- Provide knowledge transfer and guidance to team members.
- Ensure solutions align with organizational standards, accessibility requirements, and project objectives.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of PeopleSoft HCM Functional Lead experience.
- 5+ years of Quality Assurance / Testing experience.
- Strong experience with Oracle PeopleSoft HCM 9.2+.
- Strong knowledge of HR and Payroll business processes.
- Experience with PeopleSoft HCM integration points and modules, including:
- Onboarding
- Benefits Enrollment
- Life Event Management
- Fluid UI
- PUM Upgrades
- PeopleTools Upgrades
- Experience leading functional teams through analysis, design, configuration, and implementation.
- Strong experience leading end-to-end testing for PeopleSoft HCM applications.
- Experience with:
- Functional Testing
- System Integration Testing (SIT)
- Load Testing
- Performance Testing
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Payroll Parallel Testing
- Strong understanding of QA principles, practices, methodologies, tools, and defect management.
- Demonstrated experience leading teams and coordinating project activities.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Ontario Public Service (OPS) or another public-sector client.
- Previous experience supporting an enterprise HR/Payroll PeopleSoft implementation within a government environment.
- Knowledge of Project Management Institute (PMI) / PMBOK principles.
- Understanding of Information Management principles, policies, and practices.
- Knowledge of AODA and accessibility standards.
- Experience with PeopleSoft modernization, upgrades, and new feature implementation.

Must-Have Profile
The ideal candidate should demonstrate:
- 5+ years PeopleSoft HCM Functional Lead experience
- 5+ years QA/Testing experience
- Strong PeopleSoft HCM 9.2+ HR/Payroll expertise
- PeopleSoft PUM / PeopleTools / Fluid experience
- Experience leading functional analysis, design, and configuration
- Experience leading end-to-end PeopleSoft testing
- Strong QA and defect management experience
- Previous OPS/Public Sector experience is highly desirable
