Responsibilities
Lead discovery and assessment of SAS environments, analyze workloads and dependencies, and classify assets for migration, refactoring, re-engineering, archiving, or retirement. Guide migration teams, support proof-of-concept work, review converted code, validate business logic, and assist with production cutover and hypercare.
Requirements
Requires 8–10 years of hands-on SAS development and data engineering experience, with strong expertise in Base SAS, Enterprise Guide, PROC SQL, DATA Step programming, macros, and dataset management. Candidates should also have experience with large SAS landscapes, data warehousing, ETL/ELT, migration and dependency analysis, complex batch workflows, SQL, and stakeholder communication.
