VP of Operations
The Opportunity
Reporting to the President, the VP of Operations will provide senior leadership across the operating group. This is a highly visible role focused on connecting operational execution to broader business results, in close partnership with sales, finance, and other functional leaders rather than direct ownership of those functions.
What You'll Do
- Provide strategic leadership to General Managers/site leaders across multiple facilities, driving consistent performance, safety, and quality
- Partner with the President and senior leadership team on strategic planning and execution
- Build strong cross-functional relationships with sales, finance, engineering, and procurement to drive results through influence, not direct control
- Monitor financial and operational performance across sites and proactively act on risks and opportunities
- Represent operations at a senior/board level with polish and credibility
- Coach and help upgrade the operating leadership bench as the organization scales
- Champion the organization's people-first culture as a genuine performance driver
What We're Looking For
- Senior operations leadership experience in manufacturing - ideally specialty vehicle, heavy equipment, agricultural equipment, or an adjacent heavy-fabrication industry
- A demonstrated track record leading through influence and collaboration, not direct control of every function
- Strong business acumen connecting operations to broader strategy and growth
- Executive presence and communication skills
- A genuine growth mindset and comfort in a fast-moving, low-bureaucracy environment
