GTM & Ecommerce Specialist
About the Role
You own the master calendar and get Westbeach product from concept to in store and online, on time. You also run the day-to-day of our ecommerce site and help marketing bring each launch to life. You are the glue across the company, working with every team day to day, and the person everyone looks to when they need to know what is coming and when.
Westbeach is a premium surf, skate and snow apparel brand from Vancouver, with a flagship on West 4th Avenue and a growing online business. We are design-led and product-driven, and the team is small. That means there is no layer of process to hide behind. If a date is slipping, you are the one who notices, chases it down and fixes it.
Your span runs from today's deliveries and the season in market all the way out to the furthest season in development. It is an operations and logistics role at its core, with real ownership of ecommerce and a hand in marketing, and it suits someone who would rather solve the problem than escalate it.
What You'll Do
- Master Calendar: Own the master calendar across design, merchandising, production, marketing and launch, from fabric and trim development through to product landing in store and online. Track every team's milestones against the seasonal gates, flag risks early and follow up until the dates are met.
- Logistics & Delivery: Run inbound logistics so product is organized, shipped in and delivered to the right places.
- Product Setup & Handoff: Get product set up in store and on the ecommerce site, with a clean handoff to retail and ecommerce. Organize product information and allocations for each channel and location.
- UPCs, Hangtags & Product Information: Manage UPC codes, hangtags and product information so every style is accurate and clearly tied to the brand. Keep product timing aligned with marketing, bringing in their input where needed.
- Marketing Support: Keep marketing ahead of what is coming, including styles, colours, delivery timing and launch dates. Keep marketing current on sell-through so campaigns line up with what is selling and what is landing next. Help run launches and campaigns, including email, social and site content, product copy and samples for shoots.
- Line Tracking & GTM Tools: Maintain the master line board and seasonal buy log with the Merchant, the single source of truth for pricing, delivery, colour, bookings and units. Build and maintain line sheets, launch trackers and the other tools the team runs on, and improve them when they are not working.
- Ecommerce & Pricing: Run the day-to-day of our Shopify site, including product loads, imagery, collections and site merchandising for each drop. Keep product details, pricing and inventory accurate, and track site performance and sell-through. Keep retail pricing current for every style across channels and support the Merchant on cost of goods tracking.
What We're Looking For
- A self-starter who optimizes for getting things done. Nobody will hand you a playbook here. You will be given an outcome and a date, and we expect you to work out the rest.
- You figure things out yourself. When you hit something you have not done before, you find the answer, call the person who knows, or test it, and then you move.
- You break down walls. A late vendor, a missing answer or a stuck decision is a problem you go and solve, not a status you report.
- You are type A about details and dates. You love calendars and systems, and you get real satisfaction from everything landing on time.
- You follow up without being asked, and you are comfortable holding people to their dates, including people senior to you.
- You say it early when something is at risk, and you arrive with a fix.
- You are strong in spreadsheets and quick to pick up new tools.
- You have hands-on ecommerce experience, ideally on Shopify, and a genuine interest in marketing, from email and social to launches and content.
- 2-5+ years of experience in go-to-market, production, merchandising operations, logistics, ecommerce or marketing, in apparel or another consumer product. We care more about how you work than where you have worked.
Why Join Westbeach?
- Competitive Pay and Benefits: $60,000-$75,000+ compensation package that reflects your skills and experience.
- You'll Have Impact: Your work will directly decide whether each season lands on time for a brand in full relaunch mode.
- Culture-Led Brand: Built by and for people who live the lifestyle.
- Room to Grow: As the company scales, so will your role and opportunities.
