Role Description The Keyholder is a part-time, on-site role based in Hornby, ON, responsible for supporting daily store operations and ensuring a premium customer experience. This role includes opening and closing the store, securing premises, and following cash-handling and operational procedures. The Keyholder will assist with retail sales, customer service, merchandising, replenishment, and maintaining visual standards aligned with brand guidelines. Day-to-day tasks also involve sharing product knowledge with customers, supporting team members on the sales floor, and helping train new staff on store policies and brand values. The Keyholder may be asked to handle basic administrative tasks and report any operational issues to store management.
Qualifications
- Strong customer-facing abilities, including Customer Service and Customer Experience skills to deliver a welcoming, inclusive environment.
- Sales-focused mindset with Retail Sales skills and an ability to meet or exceed performance targets.
- Solid Product Knowledge and enthusiasm for fashion and contemporary luxury to confidently advise clients.
- Effective Communication skills, including clear verbal communication and active listening in a retail setting.
- Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or customer-facing roles is preferred.
- Reliability in handling keys, cash procedures, and store opening/closing responsibilities.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, move merchandise, and work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
