Quality Control Laboratory Analyst for a full-time opportunity within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in analytical chemistry, HPLC testing, dissolution testing, and GMP-regulated laboratory operations who are passionate about quality, accuracy, and scientific excellence.
- Pay Rate: $35.05/hour
- Location: Whitby, ON
- Shift: Monday to Friday | 9 AM - 5 PM
- Job type: Temporary 12 months| Full-time

Responsibilities:
Analytical Testing
- Perform HPLC, dissolution, and physical testing following approved methods and SOPs.
- Support method validation and excipient compatibility studies.
- Ensure accurate and compliant laboratory testing.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain laboratory records in accordance with GMP and ALCOA principles.
- Complete testing documentation and ensure data integrity.
- Follow all quality and regulatory requirements.
Troubleshooting & Investigations
- Troubleshoot analytical and system suitability issues.
- Identify and report atypical or OOS results.
- Participate in laboratory investigations and root-cause analysis.
Quality & Safety
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment.
- Follow EH&S, GMP, and laboratory procedures.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline
- Experience in a pharmaceutical, laboratory, chemical, or science-based environment.
- Experience with HPLC, dissolution testing, and analytical instrumentation preferred.
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical quality systems, GMP regulations, and laboratory documentation requirements.
- Experience with Empower, NuGenesis, LIMS, or SampleManager is an asset.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Flexibility to work rotating or alternating shifts as required.
- Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
