Aplin is proud to partner with our long-standing client in their search for a skilled
Litigation Paralegal. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with one partner, providing a blend of legal assistant and paralegal support. You’ll be joining a small, close-knit team that values collaboration, professionalism, and a supportive work environment.
About the Role:
This position is ideal for someone with solid civil litigation experience who enjoys managing complex, challenging files with autonomy. The work is detailed and intense, often requiring long-term commitment. You’ll be an integral part of the team, valued for your collaborative spirit, professionalism, and maturity.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a diverse range of files, primarily Civil Litigation, with occasional support on Commercial, Real Estate, Indigenous Law, and limited Criminal matters.
- Prepare, draft, and manage court documents, correspondence, and key deadlines.
- Organize and maintain client files efficiently and accurately.
- Communicate confidently with clients, courts, and other parties, representing the office professionally.
- Provide dependable support to ensure smooth daily operations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experienced Legal Assistant or Paralegal with strong litigation background.
- Mature, responsible professional seeking a long-term role in a stable, collaborative environment.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage multiple files concurrently.
- Friendly, approachable team player with excellent organizational skills and a professional attitude.
- Fully in-office commitment is required; remote work is not available.
