The Drive AheadAs a Lube Technician, you’ll help keep our customers safely on the road while supporting the day-to-day success of our Service Department. Your responsibilities will include: Performing oil and filter changes and other routine maintenance services Completing tire rotations, seasonal tire changes and basic tire services Checking and topping up vehicle fluids Inspecting tires, brakes, belts, hoses and other basic vehicle components Completing basic vehicle inspections and identifying potential maintenance concerns Maintaining accurate records of work performed Keeping your work area clean, organized and safe Following dealership safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines Supporting technicians and the Service team as needed Providing efficient, quality workmanship on every vehicle
Performance EssentialsWe’re looking for someone who brings: Previous automotive, lube or tire experience is an asset A valid driver’s licence and a clean driving record Basic mechanical knowledge and a genuine interest in the automotive industry The ability to safely operate shop equipment and hand tools Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment A positive attitude and willingness to learn Strong teamwork and communication skills The ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including lifting, bending and standing for extended periods
