Job Title: Android Developer

Location: Toronto, Canada

Experience: 5+ Years

Job Type:12 months plus

Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Android Developer with strong hands-on experience in building and maintaining native Android applications.

Mandatory Skills:

5+ years of Android Development

Strong Kotlin and Jetpack Compose

MVVM, Clean Architecture, or VIPER

Android Studio

Java

REST APIs & JSON

Third-party SDKs/Libraries

Git/GitHub

Technical solution design

Strong debugging and application maintenance experience

Good communication and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

Build and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin and modern Android development frameworks and architectural patterns. Design technical solutions, debug applications, and support ongoing application maintenance.

Requirements

Requires at least five years of Android development experience, with strong Kotlin and Jetpack Compose skills and familiarity with Android Studio, Java, REST APIs, JSON, third-party libraries, and Git/GitHub. Strong debugging and maintenance experience, technical solution design ability, and effective communication and stakeholder management skills are also required.
