We are seeking an experienced and strategic Organizational Change Management & Communications Lead to join our client's team to support a large-scale global Network Segmentation transformation initiative. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing change management and communications strategies that drive awareness, readiness, adoption, and stakeholder engagement across a diverse global audience.
This is a 6-month contract role.
Description
As the Organizational Change Management & Communications Lead, you will play a critical role in translating complex technical changes into clear, actionable communications and change activities. Operating in a fast-paced technology transformation environment, you will work closely with program leadership, cybersecurity, networking, infrastructure, and business stakeholders.
This role requires a blend of strategic vision and hands-on execution - from conducting impact assessments and building stakeholder personas to creating high-impact communication deliverables and driving enterprise business readiness.
Responsibilities
- Organizational Change Management:
- Lead OCM planning and execution for a global network segmentation initiative.
- Conduct stakeholder impact assessments, change impact analyses, and establish stakeholder personas with audience segmentation strategies.
- Assess organizational readiness, track adoption/compliance metrics, and identify potential resistance points with mitigation strategies.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops, focus groups, and feedback sessions to ensure smooth business readiness and deployment.
- Communications Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and execute integrated communication strategies, messaging frameworks, and engagement schedules aligned to program rollout milestones.
- Produce high-quality communications artifacts, including executive presentations, leadership updates, email campaigns, FAQs, talking points, SharePoint/intranet content, and roadshow briefings.
- Translate complex technical concepts into business-focused, easy-to-understand language tailored for both technical and non-technical global audiences.
- Coordinate communication channels across various global regions, business units, and technology groups.
- Readiness & Adoption:
- Establish readiness and adoption approaches for application owners, infrastructure, operations, support, and security teams.
- Partner with technical SMEs to translate technical milestones into accessible messaging.
- Monitor stakeholder sentiment to provide actionable recommendations to leadership during rollout and operational stabilization.
- Governance & Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with Program Management, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Networking, and Business teams.
- Prepare executive updates, sponsor communications, and governance materials.
- Support risk, issue, dependency, and stakeholder management efforts to maintain project timelines.
Requirements
- Professional Experience: 7+ years of experience in Organizational Change Management, Communications, or Transformation disciplines.
- Transformation Expertise: Proven track record supporting large-scale technology, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or digital transformation initiatives.
- Change Artifacts & Delivery: Demonstrated expertise conducting impact assessments, stakeholder analyses, persona building, readiness assessments, and adoption planning.
- Communication & Executive Presence: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with experience developing executive presentations and simplifying complex technical concepts.
- Stakeholder Facilitation: Strong consultation, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement capabilities across global and cross-functional teams.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting cybersecurity, Zero Trust, network segmentation, or infrastructure programs.
- Professional change management certification (Prosci, CCMP, or equivalent).
- Prior experience within large enterprise or highly regulated environments.
- Strong familiarity with Microsoft 365 collaboration and communication platforms.
