We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of an IMA (Internal Models Approach) Capital Markets transformation program. The role will manage multiple workstreams and senior stakeholders while providing strong subject matter expertise across Market Risk, Regulatory Capital, FRTB, and IMA components including ES, NMRF, RFET, and PLAT.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of IMA project deliverables across multiple workstreams.
- Partner with Trading, Front Office, Risk, Finance, Product Control, Operations, and Technology teams.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into clear requirements for Technology teams.
- Manage project timelines, dependencies, risks, issues, and actions across workstreams.
- Identify challenges, drive resolution, and escalate issues to appropriate stakeholders when required.
- Prepare project status updates, governance materials, and presentations for senior committees.
- Engage and influence senior stakeholders across a global organization.
- Support target-state design and drive changes to business processes and practices.
- Provide subject matter expertise across Capital Markets, Market Risk, Regulatory Capital, FRTB, and IMA.
- Track project performance and ensure successful execution and delivery of complex solutions.
Must-Have Requirements:
- 10–15+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Proven experience delivering IMA (Internal Models Approach) initiatives.
- Hands-on experience with IMA components such as Expected Shortfall (ES), NMRF, RFET, and PLAT.
- Strong Market Risk experience, including familiarity with HVaR (Historical Value at Risk) model management.
- Strong understanding of Capital Markets products and business lines.
- Experience with FRTB and/or other Front Office-driven regulatory initiatives.
- Experience with derivatives trading, risk, and P&L flows.
- Strong Project Management and Capital Markets transformation experience.
- Proven experience managing complex projects with multiple senior stakeholders across Front Office, Risk, Finance, Operations, Product Control, and Technology.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical, problem-solving, and issue-management skills.
- Ability to influence stakeholders, drive business change, and support target-state design.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience delivering Markets, Risk, and Regulatory projects/programs.
- Bachelor’s/University degree in a relevant field; Master’s preferred.
- PMP or equivalent Project Management certification.
- Experience with JIRA.
