Director, Marketing & Communications
Join the Team at Decor Cabinets
At Decor Cabinets, we believe great work starts with great people. Our success has been built on craftsmanship, strong relationships, and a commitment to doing things the right way. As we continue to grow and evolve, how we communicate, connect, and tell our story matters more than ever.
We're looking for a Director, Marketing & Communications to join our Senior Leadership Team and help shape how we connect with our employees, dealers, designers, and the communities we serve.
This is an opportunity for a strategic, hands-on leader who brings a passion for communication, understands relationship-driven marketing, and knows how to bring people together around a shared direction.
What You'll Do
You'll provide strategic leadership for Decor's marketing and communications function, helping strengthen how we communicate, connect with our people and partners, and bring our business priorities to life.
As a member of our Senior Leadership Team, you'll have the opportunity to influence direction, build stronger connections, and lead meaningful improvements across the organization.
In this role, you will:
- Lead corporate communications. Develop and guide communication strategies that keep employees and external partners informed, connected, and aligned with Decor's direction. Establish communication standards and practices that bring greater clarity, consistency, and professionalism to how we share information.
- Strengthen executive and leadership communications. Work closely with senior leaders to turn complex business decisions, organizational changes, and strategic priorities into clear, thoughtful messages. Provide guidance, coaching, and support to help leaders communicate effectively and build trust across the organization.
- Drive B2B marketing and dealer engagement. Develop marketing strategies that support our dealer and designer network, strengthen long-term relationships, and contribute to business growth. Lead initiatives that bring value to our partners through education, events, recognition programs, digital engagement, and meaningful experiences.
- Champion Decor's brand and reputation. Ensure our brand reflects who we are, what we stand for, and the quality and craftsmanship behind our products. Partner with leaders across the business to strengthen employee connection, celebrate achievements, and create a consistent brand experience for employees, dealers, designers, and community partners.
- Lead and develop a strong marketing team. Build a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing team through clear expectations, coaching, and development. Strengthen the team's capabilities, processes, and ways of working to deliver quality work and respond effectively to evolving business needs.
- Turn strategy into measurable results. Develop and execute marketing and communications plans aligned with Decor's business priorities. Work across departments to coordinate initiatives, manage budgets and resources, and evaluate results to continuously improve communication effectiveness, dealer engagement, and overall departmental performance.
What You Bring
You're a confident communicator and collaborative leader who can see the bigger picture while staying connected to the details that matter.
We're looking for someone with:
- At least 8 years of progressive experience in corporate communications and marketing, including a minimum of 4 years leading people, programs, or a function.
- Strong experience developing internal communications, executive messaging, and communication strategies that connect with different audiences.
- A solid understanding of B2B marketing and the importance of building long-term customer and partner relationships.
- The ability to advise and influence senior leaders, navigate sensitive conversations, and bring clarity to complex situations.
- Experience leading teams, managing priorities and budgets, and working collaboratively across an organization.
- Post-secondary education in communications, marketing, journalism, business, or a related field. Equivalent demonstrated experience will also be considered.
Experience in manufacturing, building products, cabinetry, or dealer-based industries would be an asset.
We're especially interested in seeing examples of your communication work and how you've helped organizations communicate more effectively. A portfolio of relevant work will be required as part of the recruitment process.
The Kind of Leader Who Thrives Here
At Décor, how we work together matters just as much as what we accomplish.
We value leaders who lead with integrity, stay humble, are hungry to keep improving, and have the people smarts to build strong relationships.
You'll fit in well if you're someone who listens first, communicates openly, takes ownership, and believes that developing others is an important part of leadership.
Build What's Next With Us
