Job Title: Senior Data Analyst
Work Location: Toronto, Ontario
Duration: 12+ Months contract with high possibility for extension/fulltime
Shift: M-F, 9-5 core business hours – 37.5 hours per week, 7.5 hours per day
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 4 days in office, 1 days remote.

Data Project Delivery professional with a strong background in banking/financial services, particularly within Treasury, Investments, or related financial product domains.
This is a great opportunity for someone who combines strong technical data skills with experience delivering complex data initiatives and working closely with business and technology teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate requirements review and ensure requirements are translated into effective data solutions.
- Coordinate implementation, testing, validation, and delivery of data initiatives.
- Analyze complex data issues and support reconciliation, investigation, and root-cause analysis.
- Work with technology and business stakeholders to resolve data quality and implementation issues.
- Support data sourcing, onboarding, integration, lineage analysis, and source-to-target mapping.
- Drive testing activities including test planning, test-case development, requirements traceability, defect management, regression testing, and test evidence.
- Lead cross-functional teams and help drive projects through successful delivery.
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of advanced SQL and Python experience for data analysis, profiling, reconciliation, validation, and investigation
- 5+ years of experience with Banking / Financial Services data, ideally with exposure to Treasury, Investments, Wholesale and/or Retail banking.
- Strong understanding of Treasury data products, financial product data modelling, and enterprise data environments.
- 5+ years of experience delivering large scale and complex data initiatives, translating business requirements into practical data solutions.
- Strong experience with project testing and data validation disciplines.
- Experience with modern cloud-based data platforms and end-to-end data flows.
Nice to Have
- Treasury experience with additional exposure to Liquidity, Capital, or related financial product domains.
- Experience working with Databricks or similar modern data platforms.
- Strong understanding of data lineage, transformation rules, reconciliation, and data quality controls.
