Assignment Details
- Position: Software Developer IV – Java
- Location: Toronto, ON
- Work Model: Hybrid (Initially 2 days/week onsite, moving to 4 days/week)
- Duration: Project-based (Backfill)
- Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Overtime: As required
- Team Size: 7–8 members

Position Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced Full Stack Java Developer to join an Agile development team supporting enterprise application development. The successful candidate will design, develop, test, and deploy scalable cloud-native applications while collaborating closely with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Java and Angular.
- Build scalable cloud-native applications using Azure.
- Develop RESTful services and backend components using Spring Boot.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and stand-ups.
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following established design patterns.
- Perform code reviews and participate in technical discussions.
- Develop, test, debug, and deploy enterprise applications.
- Ensure adherence to SDLC methodologies and coding standards.
- Create technical documentation and support knowledge transfer activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Participate in after-hours support rotation when required.
