Job Title: SRE / Application Support Engineer
Contract: 12+ months Contract with solid possibility to hire or extension
Location: Montreal - Hybrid
- First 3 months: 5 days per week in the office.
- After the first 3 months: Minimum 3 days per week in the office.
Working Hours: Must be available to start as early as 7:00 AM to support the US market.
Calendar/Holidays: Follow the US / New York holiday calendar.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Degree in Computer Science preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Application Support, IT Operations, or a hybrid Support/SRE role.
- Monitoring: ITRS Geneos, ELK - hands-on experience required.
- Databases: SQL and NoSQL, query writing, stored procedures, query optimization.
- Windows: Windows Server environments, services, IIS, scheduled tasks.
- UNIX/Linux: Navigation, shell scripting, Perl.
- Batch Scheduling: Control-M.
- Incident & Request Management: Jira or equivalent tools.
- CI/CD: Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible - working knowledge.
- Containers: Docker, Kubernetes - working knowledge.
- AI Tools: GitHub Copilot.
- Programming: C - nice to have.
- Cloud: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
