Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a SAS Data Engineer to join their team. As a SAS Data Engineer, you will be part of the Data & Analytics department supporting enterprise data solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
Role: SAS Data Engineer - SAS Viya
Duration: 3-Month Contract (Renewable)
Location & work model: Toronto, ON - Hybrid work
What's the Job?
- Design, develop, and support data pipelines and data integration solutions using SAS technologies.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize SAS programs, processes, and data workflows.
- Perform ETL activities across multiple source systems to support business and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze large and complex datasets to ensure data quality, integrity, and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data analysts, and architects to develop technical solutions.
What's Needed?
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer, ETL Developer, or SAS Developer.
- Strong experience with, SAS Viya, SAS Base, SAS Enterprise Guide, and SAS SQL.
- Proven ETL design, development, and optimization experience.
- Strong SQL development and database expertise.
- Experience supporting large enterprise data environments and working within Agile delivery environments.
