The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Bar Lead to join the team at Firerock Lounge! As a craft cocktail bar, we’re all about great drinks, good energy, and creating an experience guests want to come back for. This role is perfect for an experienced bartender who’s ready to take the lead behind the bar, help keep service running smoothly, and set the standard for the team. You’ll be hands-on with bartending, keeping the bar organized and stocked, supporting your fellow bartenders, and making sure every guest has a great experience.

What You Bring to the Table
- 3 - 4 years bartending experience in a cocktail lounge, upscale bar, or restaurant environment.
- Strong knowlege of classic cocktails and spirits
- A polished, professional presence with a genuine passion for hospitality.
- Leadership skills with the ability to support and guide the bar team, lead by example, and help maintain high standards of service and bar operations.
- Ability to deliver elevated, attentive service while remaining calm and composed.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging with guests.
- Strong attention to detail and an appreciation for timing, pacing, and presentation.
- Comfort using POS systems and handling cash/credit transactions accurately.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a refined but fast-paced setting.
- 19+ years old with a valid Serving It Right certification.
Your Days Will Look Like
- Training & Development: Train and support new and existing bar staff on drink recipes, preparation, procedures, service standards, and responsible alcohol service.
- Bar Standards: Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, presentation, drink consistency, and speed of service.
- Opening & Closing: Oversee bar opening and closing procedures, including stocking, cleaning, equipment checks, and checklists.
- Ordering & Inventory: Manage bar orders, complete inventory counts, monitor stock levels, and identify shortages.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure the team follows liquor regulations, responsible service requirements, food safety standards, and workplace safety procedures.
- Shift Leadership: Lead by example during service, delegate tasks, support the team during busy periods, and keep staff productive during quieter shifts.
- Management Communication: Keep management informed of inventory, staffing, training, maintenance, operational issues, and required follow-up.
- Assist with additional duties as required.
