Reporting to the Client Services Manager, the Client Services Officer A provides comprehensive and quality front-line service to clients enquiring about programs offered by the Employment & Training Services Division. This position assesses clients’ needs, determines initial and continuing eligibility for programming and calculates financial benefits; administers programs and services in accordance with departmental policies, procedures and legislation; collaborates with community partners and other stakeholders to deliver programs and services; interprets departmental policy and procedures; utilizes information technologies to deliver services and manage data; performs quality assurance activities to ensure program integrity; participates in delivery of presentations to various groups; contributes to continuous improvement activities; and other related duties as required
Screening Criteria
- Completion of an undergraduate degree in a related field (equivalencies will be considered)
- Relevant client service experience
- Experience providing service to clients experiencing financial, employment and/or social issues(asset)
- Case management experience (asset)

- Knowledge of relevant employment support services (asset)

- Ability to work independently and manage time and tasks
