The Opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to support a multi-year enterprise application modernization initiative within the financial services sector.
In this hands-on role, you will help design and develop a next-generation platform supporting critical client onboarding, regulatory compliance, and enterprise data management functions. The initiative is focused on modern, cloud-aligned architecture, scalable integration patterns, advanced user experiences, and contemporary development practices.
You will bring deep expertise in Angular along with backend development capabilities and contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and technical design through development, testing, troubleshooting, and production support.
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and enhance enterprise applications supporting onboarding and regulatory compliance functions.
- Build modern, responsive user interfaces using Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Develop and maintain backend services using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
- Design and consume RESTful APIs and service integrations.
- Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions.
- Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, QA teams, architects, and engineering partners to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Contribute to code reviews, testing strategies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Troubleshoot application, integration, and production issues.
- Participate in Agile practices, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos, and retrospectives.
- Contribute to modernization efforts focused on cloud adoption, usability, and user experience.
What You Bring to the Table
- 5+ years of experience developing modern web applications using Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- 2+ years of backend development experience with Java, Spring, and Spring Boot is preferred; candidates willing to learn and contribute to backend development may also be considered.
- Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design and software development best practices.
- Experience with enterprise application architecture and systems integration.
- Strong SQL and database development experience.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and unit testing.
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
- Experience working in Linux/Unix environments.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
