Hughes Collective is pleased to present an exciting opportunity on behalf of our client.
Title: Personal Lines Insurance Broker
Location: Saskatoon, SK
Reporting to: Brokerage Owners
Our Client
Al Hattie Insurance describes itself as a small-town brokerage in the city. Since opening in Saskatoon in 1982, the family business has served clients who now send their children and grandchildren through the same doors. Today, the founder’s three granddaughters lead the brokerage, continuing the personal service that keeps families coming back. Clients come in for a conversation, an explanation of their options, and help they can return to when life changes.
For employees, that means getting to know the people they serve, with owners present in the office and available for questions and guidance. Al Hattie invests in its brokers’ education and encourages them to expand their expertise, giving them more ways to help each client.
The Opportunity
For a Personal Lines Insurance Broker who likes variety, Al Hattie offers plenty of it. Clients come through the door with questions about a first apartment, a new home, a cabin, or an upcoming trip. You will help them understand their options and choose coverage that reflects their circumstances, taking time to explain the details and find answers they can use.
Al Hattie’s full-service approach gives you the opportunity to help with several insurance needs in the same conversation. Brokers share incoming work and clients can request someone familiar, creating opportunities to meet new people and develop relationships with returning clients. Along with providing advice, you will manage client files, follow up with insurers, and assist with motor licence issuing, keeping each request on track after the conversation ends.
