Required Skills & Experience
- 5-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst and/or Business Systems Analyst supporting enterprise technology or transformation initiatives.
- Commercial Banking experience with strong understanding of Commercial Banking products and services.
- Experience supporting billing processes, billing platforms, or billing transformation initiatives within a Commercial Banking environment.
- Experience working with back-office operations and understanding operational workflows.
- Experience developing detailed current-state and future-state process maps.
- Strong business and solution requirements-gathering experience.
- Experience leading stakeholder discussions, discovery sessions, and requirements workshops.
- Ability to translate operational and business needs into clear requirements for technology teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.

Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Business Analyst to support leading a Commercial Banking Billing Modernization program with one of Canada’s largest financial institutions. The program is focused on automating billing activities that are currently performed manually by back-office teams.
This resource will work alongside other Business Analysts and partner closely with business and technology stakeholders to understand existing billing processes, define business and solution requirements, and develop current-state and future-state process maps. The successful candidate will play a lead role in stakeholder discovery, requirements workshops, and the early definition of the program.
The ideal candidate will have strong Commercial Banking experience, knowledge of Commercial Banking products and billing processes, and experience supporting operational or billing transformation initiatives. This individual must be comfortable operating independently and helping stakeholders define requirements within an early-stage program.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering and discovery sessions with Commercial Banking business and technology stakeholders.
- Gather, analyze, and document business and solution requirements for the Billing Modernization program.
- Assess existing manual billing processes performed by back-office teams.
- Develop detailed current-state and future-state process maps.
- Identify process gaps, operational pain points, and opportunities for billing automation.
- Translate business and operational needs into clear requirements for technology partners.
- Lead stakeholder discussions, ask effective discovery questions, and drive conversations toward clear decisions and requirements.
- Build strong relationships with business, operations, and technology stakeholders.
- Support the early definition of the program, including scope, requirements, and business-case development.
- Work alongside other Business Analysts while providing leadership and direction across the requirements process.
- Operate independently in an early-stage environment where scope and requirements are still being established.
