Role: Cost Validation Coordinator
Type: 6 Month Contract (possibility for conversion or extension)
Location: Hybrid 4x/week in Ajax or Brampton
Rate: $18-$19.5/hr
JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is seeking a Cost Validation Coordinators to join one of Canada's largest retail organizations on an initial 6-month contract with strong potential for extension. The Cost Validation Coordinator will support the Transportation Cost Validation team by reviewing, tracking, and maintaining transportation-related cost data. This role is highly process-driven and requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to follow established procedures. The successful candidate will work with large volumes of transportation and costing data, ensuring information is entered correctly, discrepancies are identified, and records are maintained accurately. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative, coordination, data entry, transportation, logistics, supply chain, or finance/accounting experience who is looking to grow within a large transportation and supply chain organization. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal role for a quick learner who enjoys working with data and processes in a fast-paced environment.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
-Experience with data entry, coordination, administrative, finance, accounting, or operational support work
-Comfortable working in Excel and managing large amounts of data
-Quick learner who can pick up new systems and processes quickly
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
-Transportation, logistics, supply chain, or freight industry experience
-Accounts Payable, invoicing, cost validation, or finance experience
-Experience reviewing, tracking, or validating operational data
-Exposure to carrier invoices, rate sheets, or transportation costs
-Experience in a high-volume corporate or retail environment
