JOB DESCRIPTION: $95k-$100k - 5 days a week onsite in North York
The Senior Financial Analyst is the primary finance partner for the Outside Sales team supporting commercial-account prospecting and growth. This visible role requires an analyst who can provide actionable insight, challenge assumptions constructively, and combine technical capability with strong business partnership.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the finance point of contact for Outside Sales and provide findings, insights, and recommendations.
- Understand commercial-account activity, business drivers, risks, and opportunities and translate analysis into action.
- Prepare forecasts, management reporting, financial analysis, and ad hoc studies that improve business performance.
- Participate in forecasting and planning while ensuring projections and reports are accurate and decision-ready.
- Use GBQ and Tableau to develop reporting and move the role beyond primarily data-maintenance work.
- Create supplemental reporting approaches that improve visibility and proactive problem solving.
- Present clearly, build trusted relationships, and push back respectfully when financial evidence supports another direction.
- Lead special projects and identify finance-process and reporting improvements.

The team supports a broad portfolio through financial planning and reporting, outside-sales partnership, and forward-looking strategic initiatives. Working Environment & Technology
- Intermediate to advanced Excel; advanced skill is an asset.
- Tableau strongly preferred; exceptional learners may be considered.
- Strong Google BigQuery capability is preferred for this role.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
- 3-5+ years of financial analysis, accounting, FP&A, or finance business-partner experience.
- Strong financial modeling, business analysis, forecasting, and problem-solving skills.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel capability.
- Hands-on experience with Tableau.
- Google BigQuery knowledge and experience with data-visualization tools.
- Confidence to operate as the face of Finance to a business team.
- Strong business collaboration skills and the confidence to challenge assumptions constructively.
- Organized, detail-oriented, flexible, and able to deliver quality work under pressure.
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience supporting a sales or commercial business team.
- Experience using AI tools such as Copilot or Gemini.
