Position Overview
The Government Services Integration Cluster is seeking an
Intermediate Software Developer – Front End to design, develop, test, implement, and support modern front-end applications within a large-scale enterprise environment.
The successful candidate will have strong hands-on development experience with
React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5/CSS, Node.js, Next.js, RESTful web services, Spring Framework, Java, Oracle, and responsive web application development. The resource will work closely with IT professionals, business stakeholders, subject matter experts, project teams, and external partners throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.
Current and hands-on development experience is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement front-end code, including user interface interactions and attractive, effective user interfaces.
- Translate technical system specifications into working, tested applications.
- Develop detailed programming specifications and write or generate application code.
- Compile, test, debug, document, deploy, and maintain applications.
- Perform unit testing and participate in front-end testing and debugging.
- Troubleshoot technical issues arising during software package use and operation.
- Provide technical assistance for implementation, conversion, and migration activities.
- Develop responsive web applications and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
- Work with complex, large-scale systems and enterprise applications.
- Collaborate with IT professionals throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Elicit and document requirements and information from diverse business stakeholders and subject matter experts.
- Participate in design walkthroughs with project teams.

- 1+ year of demonstrated experience using Java.
