Position: Data Modeller

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Data Modeller with 7–10 years of hands-on experience in data modelling, data analysis, SQL, and data quality. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of capital markets, including trade lifecycle, market participants, asset classes, and associated risks.
Key Responsibility:
- Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
- Strong knowledge of Star, Snowflake, and Hybrid data modelling, including Fact and Dimension tables.
- Understand Capital Markets, including trade lifecycle, transactions, participants (brokers, custodians, investors), asset classes (Equities, FX, Derivatives, etc.), and related risks.
- Perform data profiling, analysis, reconciliation, and validation using advanced SQL and spreadsheets.
- Identify and support resolution of data quality issues and define data quality rules.
- Translate business requirements into effective data models and data solutions.
- Collaborate with business users, managers, developers, data engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and communicate data-related findings clearly.
Required Skills:
- 7–10 years of Data Modelling/Data Analysis experience.
- Strong SQL and data profiling skills.
- Strong knowledge of Dimensional Modelling, Star/Snowflake Schema, Fact & Dimension tables.
- Good Capital Markets domain knowledge.
- Experience in Data Quality and Data Governance.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Exposure to Snowflake/cloud data platforms is preferred.
