Are you a detail-oriented banking or financial services professional looking to grow your operations career with a leading financial institution? We are seeking an Operations Analyst to join a collaborative and supportive team responsible for mutual fund trade processing, settlements, and operational excellence.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong Excel skills, a passion for accuracy, and experience working in a fast-paced financial environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Process mutual fund trades and settlements accurately and efficiently
- Investigate and resolve transaction breaks, exceptions, and discrepancies
- Handle FundSERV transactions and money movements
- Utilize advanced Excel tools, including formulas, pivot tables, and macros, to support operational processes
- Respond to internal inquiries and provide operational support
- Ensure compliance with established operational controls and regulatory requirements
- Monitor daily deliverables and meet established performance metrics
- Collaborate with team members to support ongoing business operations
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- University degree or equivalent education
- 2+ years of banking, financial services, or mutual fund operations experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including:
- Formulas
- Pivot Tables
- Spreadsheets
- Macros
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and technologies
- Adaptable, collaborative, and team-oriented mindset
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Trade settlement experience
- Canadian Securities Course (CSC)
- FundSERV experience
- Previous experience in mutual fund operations
