Position Overview
We’re looking for a Junior Full Stack Developer to join our team with an initial frontend focus for the first 6–8 months. In this role, you’ll primarily work in React, collaborating closely with our lead engineer to bring Figma designs to life and build intuitive, high-quality experiences for patients and physicians. As you ramp up, you’ll gradually gain exposure to our Laravel backend and broader system architecture, with the opportunity to grow into a well-rounded full stack engineer. This is an ideal role for someone early in their career who wants to ship meaningful product work and grow quickly in a startup environment.
What you'll do:
Build and maintain frontend features in React across key patient- and physician-facing product flows
Translate product requirements and Figma designs into polished, responsive, production-ready - interfaces
Work closely with the lead engineer and broader team to implement features across the frontend and gradually integrate with Laravel APIs and backend systems
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, and contribute to improving quality across the codebase
Debug issues, iterate quickly, and help ship reliable product improvements in a fast-moving startup environment
Take ownership of scoped work, communicate progress clearly, and grow into broader full stack responsibilities over time
What we’re looking for:
1–3 years of software development experience, or a recent Computer Science graduate with strong internship, co-op, or project experience
Strong fundamentals in React, JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
Basic familiarity with backend concepts; Laravel or similar framework experience is a plus
Reliable, proactive, and comfortable working hard in a startup environment where priorities can move quickly
Strong communicator who asks thoughtful questions when needed and keeps others informed
Able to work independently, manage scoped tasks, and follow work through to completion in a remote setting
Eager to learn, take feedback well, and grow into a stronger full stack engineer over time
Thoughtful, detail-oriented, and comfortable collaborating closely with engineering, product, and leadership
