Senior Business Analyst

Position summary
Our client is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to support strategic organizational transformation initiatives in a complex and regulated environment.
The successful candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and delivery teams by translating business objectives into concrete solutions, facilitating strategic discussions, analyzing processes, and ensuring that business requirements remain aligned with implementation outcomes.
Main responsibilities
- Facilitate scoping, vision, and requirements workshops with business stakeholders, subject-matter experts, and delivery teams.
- Define and validate initiative scope, objectives, priorities, business needs, and expected outcomes.
- Analyze and document current-state processes, identify operational challenges, and design optimized future-state processes using BPMN.
- Develop business cases, Business Requirements Documents, impact analyses, decision-making documents, and other project deliverables.
- Ensure full traceability between business requirements, proposed solutions, implementation activities, and project objectives.
- Collaborate with business and technology teams to support implementation, monitor benefits, validate outcomes, and manage organizational impacts.
Qualifications
- Significant experience as a Business Analyst in a complex, large-scale, or highly regulated environment.
- Advanced knowledge of the BABOK framework and business analysis best practices.
- Demonstrated experience with Agile, Scrum, SAFe, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Strong analytical, synthesis, strategic thinking, facilitation, workshop leadership, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Proven experience in the financial sector or another large-scale regulated environment, which is required for this position.
- Advanced proficiency in French, both spoken and written, with strong autonomy, leadership, consulting, communication, and documentation skills.
Experience producing BPMN process models, BRDs, requirements traceability matrices, implementation plans, benefit-monitoring plans, and executive-level documentation is required. The successful candidate should be comfortable working independently, influencing stakeholders, managing ambiguity, and supporting transformation initiatives from initial scoping through implementation.
