About the opportunity
Amaris Consulting is looking for an LMSAT Technology & Process Expert to support the control, optimization, and implementation of technologies, equipment, systems, and manufacturing processes used in Visual Inspection operations.
The successful candidate will act as the technical reference for Visual Inspection activities, supporting complex technical investigations, process optimization, technology transfers, validations, and continuous-improvement initiatives.
This role requires close collaboration with Production, Engineering, Quality, LMSAT teams, and external partners within a regulated manufacturing environment.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the technical reference for Visual Inspection processes, equipment, and activities.
- Provide technical expertise and support to Production, Engineering, Quality, LMSAT, and other site functions.
- Investigate and resolve complex technical issues related to Visual Inspection technologies and processes.
- Support process optimization, technology transfers, product transfers, validations, and continuous-improvement initiatives.
- Evaluate and optimize optical systems, industrial lighting, cameras, and automated inspection systems.
- Support the configuration and optimization of detection thresholds.
- Analyze the performance and limitations of image-processing technologies.
- Work with automated inspection platforms such as Seidenader and Brevetti.
- Develop, review, and maintain clear, accurate, and usable technical documentation.
- Support risk assessments, technical investigations, change-management activities, and project deliverables.
- Contribute to the implementation and interpretation of applicable regulatory requirements, including USP <1790> and USP <790>.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure smooth technology and process transfers.
- Lead or support improvement initiatives in a matrix organization.
- Monitor process performance, identify improvement opportunities, and help reduce recurring technical issues.
- Support validation, testing, troubleshooting, and performance verification activities requiring onsite presence.
- Communicate technical findings, recommendations, risks, and progress to stakeholders at different organizational levels.
- Manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance.
Required qualifications
- University degree in a scientific, technical, engineering, pharmaceutical, or related discipline.
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in Visual Inspection, manufacturing technology, process engineering, automation, or a related technical field.
- Practical experience with Visual Inspection technologies, equipment, and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of one or more of the following:
- Optical systems
- Industrial lighting systems
- Cameras and automated inspection systems
- Image-processing technologies
- Detection threshold configuration and optimization
- Seidenader or Brevetti inspection platforms
- Experience working with cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience with risk management, project management, technical investigations, or process improvement.
- Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements, including USP <1790> and USP <790>.
- Strong technical writing and communication skills.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders across Production, Engineering, Quality, LMSAT, and external organizations.
- Experience leading or driving improvement initiatives in a matrix environment.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work accurately and effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- Advanced French, both written and spoken.
- Advanced English, both written and spoken.

Work arrangement
This position follows a hybrid work model, requiring regular onsite presence at least three days per week. Onsite work is necessary for collaboration with teams, technical activities, meetings, validations, troubleshooting, and tasks requiring physical presence.
