You’ll own sales results, champion operational excellence, and foster an engaging, customer-first culture.</p><p>If you’re a dynamic retail leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about results, team development, and creating memorable in-store experiences, we’d love to hear from you.</p><p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Oversee daily store operations to ensure efficiency, profitability, and an exceptional customer experience.</p></li><li><p>Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team through ongoing training, performance management, and succession planning.</p></li><li><p>Drive sales by executing business strategies, promotional initiatives, and effective merchandising plans.</p></li><li><p>Manage financial performance, including budgeting, expense control, and analysis of variances to achieve targets.</p></li><li><p>Build strong customer relationships to understand needs and enhance service delivery.</p></li><li><p>Analyze sales and financial reports to identify opportunities and implement strategies to improve performance.</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with company policies, as well as health and safety regulations.</p></li><li><p>Execute and monitor loss prevention and shrink control programs.</p></li></ul><p><strong>You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications and skills:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred.</p></li><li><p><strong>3+ years of management experience in a specialty retail or customer-focused environment.</strong></p></li><li><p>Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills with a proven ability to recruit, hire, and train high-performing teams.</p></li><li><p>Customer-focused with excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building abilities.</p></li><li><p>Expertise in sales growth, merchandising strategies, expense control, shrink reduction, and brand differentiation.</p></li><li><p>Highly organized with the ability to multitask and drive operational excellence.</p></li><li><p>Passion for board games, pop culture, and creating memorable customer experiences.</p></li><li><p>Energetic, outgoing, and motivated personality that thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Pay Rate:</strong> $21–$23 per hour</p><p><strong>This is an existing position.</strong></p><p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Competitive pay</p></li><li><p>Flexible scheduling</p></li><li><p>Casual dress environment</p></li><li><p>Employee discount on games, puzzles, and toys</p></li><li><p>Extended health benefits</p></li><li><p>Life insurance</p></li><li><p>Work in a fun, creative environment surrounded by products and people you love</p></li></ul><p><strong>Store Location:</strong><br>Oshawa Centre – Unit 1060<br>419 King St W<br>Oshawa, ON</p><p><strong>Mind Games is an equal opportunity employer.
