Turnaround Operator
Contract Period: January–June 2027
We are seeking reliable and mechanically inclined Power Engineers to support a client’s planned turnaround activities from January through June 2027.
Requirements
- Minimum 4th Class ABSA Power Engineer certification
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting skills
- Previous industrial, plant, or turnaround experience preferred
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment
- Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and following procedures
- Valid safety certifications and site requirements as applicable
- Must have between 5-10 years of experience specifically in heavy oil, sulphur, refinery. We are targeting a specific ~5-10 years of experience range
Responsibilities
- Support plant turnaround, maintenance, and operational activities
- Assist with equipment operation, inspections, and basic mechanical troubleshooting
- Follow site safety procedures, work permits, and operational requirements
- Work collaboratively with maintenance and operations teams
Must be local to Fort Saskatchewan area. Travel and accommodations are not provided
