The Role
OXARO is seeking Analysts to join our Advisory team and support a variety of client and internal initiatives. This role involves supporting client projects through research, data analysis, and deliverable preparation, while also contributing to internal initiatives and business development. Candidates should have a Commerce-related degree, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a collaborative, client-focused approach.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for our public sector clients, building strong relationships, and expertly managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct research to identify and summarize leading industry practices.
- Analyze data and review documentation to support project insights.
- Participate in client meetings and interviews to gather relevant information.
- Develop analytical models and frameworks to guide decision-making.
- Map business processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Capture and summarize key observations and findings.
- Draft clear, professional client deliverables.
- Support client communications to ensure alignment and clarity.
- Assist with business development activities, including market research and proposal writing.
- Lead and contribute to internal initiatives such as recruitment and committee work.
What You Bring To The Table
- Undergraduate degree in Commerce or a related field, with a preference for accounting and finance profiles.
- Experience in data analysis and documentation review.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and time management skills.
- Interest in pursuing professional designations (e.g., CPA, CIA, PMP).
- Proficient with the MS Office suite.
- Strong English communication skills required; French is an asset.
- Detail-oriented, adaptable, and client-focused.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and perform under pressure.
- Currently residing in the Ottawa-Gatineau region and holding or eligible to obtain a Government of Canada Reliability status.
