- Valid Construction Safety Officer (CSO) certification from a recognized BC training provider;
- At least five years of experience in a construction safety role, ideally within mechanical contracting, industrial, or commercial construction environments;
- Strong knowledge of WorkSafeBC Occupational Health and Safety Regulations and applicable BC construction safety requirements;
- Experience with hazard identification, risk assessments, incident investigations, fall protection, confined space entry, lockout/tagout, personal protective equipment, and exposure controls;
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with site teams and management;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic safety management systems;
- A valid BC driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel to project sites throughout Greater Vancouver and the Lower Mainland.
What They Offer:
Four Lakes Mechanical offers competitive compensation of $38 to $45 per hour, along with extended health, dental and vision benefits, RRSP matching, and paid time off. Depending on the circumstances, a company vehicle or vehicle allowance may also be available. Employees have access to ongoing professional development and safety training, as well as the opportunity to play an important role in shaping and strengthening the company’s safety culture. This is a stable, long-term opportunity with a growing company that values collaboration, employee development, and shared success.
If you’re a safety professional who enjoys working directly with construction teams, building strong relationships, and making a meaningful impact on workplace safety, this is an opportunity to contribute to a growing mechanical contracting company.
