On behalf of our Financial Services client, Procom is searching for a Project Manager for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.
Project Manager - Job Description:
The Project Manager will lead the assessment and onboarding of multiple small to mid-size data solutions into a newly created Snowflake/Azure environment. This role involves overseeing technical implementations and influencing senior leaders, with a focus on data solution integrations within the financial industry.
Project Manager - Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the implementation of data solutions into the Snowflake/Azure environment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment and success
- Influence and communicate effectively with senior leaders and stakeholders
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management
- Foster teamwork and problem-solving among project team members
Project Manager - Mandatory Skills:
- Proven experience in project management with data solution implementations
- Strong technical background, particularly with Snowflake and Azure
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to influence senior leaders and stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Experience in the financial industry
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment
Project Manager – Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with other cloud platforms
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Familiarity with data governance and compliance in financial services
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills
Project Manager – Assignment Length:
The initial contract is for 6 months, with the possibility of extension depending on the candidate.
