ProxyLink is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support medium to large-scale I&IT initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, technical teams, and project leadership to understand business needs, define requirements, improve processes, and translate business objectives into effective technology solutions.
This role requires a strong combination of business analysis, Agile delivery, business process improvement, requirements management, stakeholder engagement, and technical understanding. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in complex enterprise environments and can communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate workshops to elicit, review, document, validate, and confirm business requirements.
- Analyze business problems and opportunities and translate them into clear, actionable business and technical requirements.
- Conduct business process reengineering and identify alternative, cost-effective approaches to service delivery.
- Develop business models, business rules, process maps, stakeholder maps, context diagrams, systems diagrams, use cases, and user stories.
- Gather requirements through workshops, interviews, JAD sessions, observations, prototypes, mockups, and other appropriate techniques.
- Create and maintain requirements documentation, traceability matrices, performance measures, reports, presentations, briefing notes, and assessments.
- Work within Agile/Scrum environments and break complex requirements into manageable deliverables for development teams.
- Create and refine user stories and acceptance criteria while ensuring alignment with iterative development cycles.
- Support UX, functional, and technical design activities, including user interface requirements and prototypes.
- Develop business cases, options analyses, cost-benefit analyses, feasibility studies, and ROI assessments.
- Conduct business analysis throughout the full project lifecycle, from initial requirements through implementation, refinement, and production support.
- Assess proposed technology solutions to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, organizational standards, policies, and business objectives.
- Identify, assess, communicate, and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Support quality assurance activities and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate that solutions meet approved business requirements.
- Support change management activities, including impact assessments, communication strategies, training requirements, and end-user adoption.
- Monitor progress, resolve problems, and provide regular status updates to management and stakeholders.
- Participate in RFP processes, including defining client requirements and evaluating vendor responses.
- Support production issue identification and resolution, configuration management, and ongoing service delivery.
- Work collaboratively with developers, QA specialists, architects, project managers, business stakeholders, and other cross-functional teams.
- Ensure business requirements remain traceable to implemented I&IT solutions and comply with applicable policies, standards, and methodologies.

- Experience working as a Business Analyst or Functional Consultant on medium to large-sized projects.
- Experience working in complex enterprise or public-sector environments.
- Experience providing functional business analysis and technical leadership to project teams and stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of business-driven IT solutions and the ability to translate business and data requirements into technology specifications.
- Experience conducting business analysis reviews and making recommendations regarding options, changes, and contingency approaches.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.
- Experience planning and coordinating business analysis activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Understanding of enterprise business architecture, information management, data management, and I&IT governance principles.
- Ability to ensure solution recommendations align with enterprise, corporate, and project standards and policies.

- Experience with business analysis tools, such as DevOps, MS Visio, Figma, or comparable tools.
- Hands-on experience with requirements gathering, process mapping, use cases, user stories, business modeling, and business process improvement.
