We’re looking for our next Senior Analyst, Treasury. Could It Be You?
The Treasury Analyst will analyze all collateral requirements, provide accurate reports to aid in forecasting cash needs for the business, and manage liquidity-related activities. This role works cross-functionally with various teams to support daily Treasury operations.

In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Monitoring and reconciling daily collateral requirements with various counterparties and clearing organizations.

Minimizing Questrade’s risk by making required margin calls in accordance with signed agreements.

Verifying that all manual adjustments are captured prior to margin call processing.
-
Ensuring all margin calls are issued and responded to within agreement deadlines.
-
Working collaboratively with Stock Lending, Securities Finance, and Brokerage Operations to complete daily tasks.

Confirming and processing collateral movements in a timely manner.
-
Researching, reconciling and resolving margin call disputes with counterparties daily.

Monitoring and analyzing the daily cash position to cover cash commitments; reconcile accounts and prepare daily cash forecasting reports.

Assessing short-term investment opportunities to ensure liquidity goals are met.

Assisting with risk management by identifying and recommending strategies to minimize foreign currency and interest rate exposures.

Assisting in the preparation of various financial reports and analysis when needed, as well as for periodic and annual audit.

Notifying Treasury Management of outstanding margin call disputes.

Providing backup support to the cash management team as required.

Have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field required.

Have 2-5 years of corporate treasury experience.

Have previous collateral management or forecasting experience.

Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Have an ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Are highly organized, detail-oriented, with strong time-management skills.
-
Have exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with advanced reconciliation skills.
-
Have strong computer skills with tools such as MS Excel, Google Sheets, SQL, Power BI; ability to build Excel-based solutions (macros) to improve efficiencies and controls.

Have knowledge of collateral agreements (ISDA/Repo) is a plus.

Experience with digital assets (crypto) is a plus.

Relevant certifications (CTP or CFA preferred).

Compensation Information:

Base salary range: $85,000 - $95,000

The final compensation package will be commensurate with the successful candidate's experience, skills, and geographic location (Canada). It includes a comprehensive benefits plan and a competitive incentive (bonus) program for Full-Time Permanent roles.
