Prime Hires is seeking a skilled Operations Officer I to join our client in support of an existing vacancy.
Contract Period: 4 months with potential to extend
Pay Rate: $22.72 per hour
Location: Toronto, ON
Location Type: Hybrid
Business Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Job Responsibilities:- Candidates will be working within AML operations, conducting rapid (15-20 min) reviews of data discrepancy alerts that are triggered via system functionality / capabilities based on regulatory requirements / risk factors / behaviors.
- Reviewing data discrepancy / incompleteness alerts for potential remediation.
- Read source documents such as book of record systems, physical documents etc and enter correct data in specific data fields on reporting systems using.
- keyboards/computers/applications etc.
- Compile, sort and verify the accuracy of data before it is entered. And accurately record customer/client/transaction date.
- Locate and correct data entry errors and/or report them to supervisors / partners within SLA.
- Compare data with source documents and/or re-enter data in verification format to detect errors.
- Writing/Reaching out to partners for missing data and ensuring the same is provided and entered.
- Interact with partners by responding to requests in an effective and timely manner.
Experience & Qualification Requirements:- High School Diploma required.
- 1 years of operations and/or data entry/enrichment and/or regulatory reporting, and/or payments transaction processing experience.
- Previous corporate / financial industry experience – banking experience (international included).
- Self-driven and motivated to learn.
- Able to work independently but also work as part of a team.
- Computer savvy – Computer savvy, able to quickly learn internal systems. Previous advanced experience with computer applications, Microsoft Word and proficiency in Excel.
- EFTR Regulatory Reporting.
- Professional education or certifications.
- Business writing experience.
