We are hiring a housekeeping team member for night shift, 10m to 6am, 3 to 4 shifts per week. Must have availability on weekdays and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings
- Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs.
- Empty trash cans and other waste containers and dispose in outside bins.
- Clean and disinfect washrooms, locker rooms, and fixtures.
- Replenish supplies in the washrooms and locker rooms.
- Maintain cleanliness within all club areas, focusing on public areas.
- Ensure storerooms are clean, organized, and secure.
- Ensure cleaning material and supplies are stored in a safe and orderly manner.
- Follow sanitation procedures and safety guidelines.
Qualification
- Previous professional cleaning experience required.
- Knowledge of standard cleaning procedures, chemicals, products, and equipment.
- Ability to read and understand cleaning product labels, safety instructions, and procedures.
- Experience operating floor scrubbing machines is an asset.
- Ability to safely perform physical duties, including lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs, with reasonable accommodation where required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Positive attitude with strong communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, dependable, and committed to maintaining high cleaning standards.
- Flexibility to work weekdays and weekends.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and read and understand written instructions.
- Successful completion of a criminal record check will be required as a condition of employment.
