Position: Sr Integration Engineer (Intelligent Automation)

Pay Range: $90 - $100/Hr CAD
Job Summary
Expert-level Senior Integration Developer with Intelligent Automation experience to design, build, and govern mission-critical enterprise automation and integration solutions on Workato and Boomi, with a specialized focus on Legal systems integration. Spans core iPaaS, API management, and Generative AI/Agentic Orchestration. Drives digital transformation of Legal operations, establishes platform governance, and mentors junior developers.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Architecture & Development - End-to-end design and deployment of complex multi-step Recipes and Boomi processes for performance and scale.
- AI & Agentic - Build and manage autonomous AI Agents (Genies) in Agent Studio with internal context and secure actions; implement IDP workflows for extraction/classification from unstructured Legal content (contracts, filings).
- API & Data - Govern secure API endpoints on the API Platform/Gateway (proxies, rate limiting, OAuth/JWT); build bulk ETL/ELT and data-sync pipelines using Data Tables and FileStorage.
- Hybrid & Protocols - On-Premise Agent (OPA), databases, private networks; SFTP, REST, SOAP, and application-specific connectors.
- Event-Driven - Event triggers/publishers for Kafka, Amazon SQS, and other brokers.
- Governance & Ops - RBAC, SSO (Workato Identity), audit trails for AI Agent actions, Smart Versioning and deployment promotion; Git/GitHub for repos, branches, and PRs; CI/CD for recipes.
- Monitoring & Production Support - Insights and job history for proactive monitoring, failure diagnosis, and cost/efficiency tuning; on-call support for high availability.
- UX Automation & Human-in-the-Loop - Workbot (ChatOps), Workflow/AgentX Apps, and rich Slack apps, slash commands, and Slack API integrations.
- Business Application Integrations - CRM, HR, Finance, LMS, Legal, Budget & Forecast, and collaboration platforms.
- Database & Scripting - SQL and PL/SQL; custom scripting in Ruby, Python, Java, Groovy, or JavaScript; Custom Connectors via Connector SDK and Developer API.
- Technical Leadership - Documentation, best practices, Community Library and AI Copilots to accelerate delivery
Required Qualifications
- Workato platform - 5+ yrs: recipe design, job execution, nested logic, advanced data transformation (Ruby/Python), reusable callable functions, governance, and administration.
- Boomi - 3+ yrs hands-on integration.
- Legal systems - 4+ yrs: CLM, e-signature, matter/litigation management, compliance/e-discovery (e.g., Ironclad, DocuSign, Evisort).
- Financial integrations - 4+ yrs: AP, AR invoice, GL accounting/journals, bank/treasury.
- Supply chain (SCM) integration - 4+ yrs.
- Scripting - 4+ yrs: Java, Groovy, JavaScript, or Python.
- Data synchronization / ETL-ELT - 4+ yrs, including bulk/batch actions.
- API management - 4+ yrs: API Gateway, secure endpoints, proxies, rate limiting, OAuth/JWT.
- Developer tools - 3+ yrs: Connector SDK and/or Developer API.
- Event-driven architectures - 3+ yrs: Kafka, Amazon SQS.
- Workflow & AgentX Apps - 2+ yrs, with human-in-the-loop steps.
- Agentic AI - 1+ yr: Agent Studio Genies, AI governance (RBAC, audit trails), and IDP.
Preferred
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their integration services
- Legal tech standards, contract data models, GDPR/SOC 2
- Workato Certified Automation Pro III or equivalent
- Legal-domain Accelerator implementations
