What you’ll do
- Act as the functional owner for one or more business platforms such as Salesforce, NetSuite, SAP, Workday, Microsoft Dynamics, ServiceNow, HubSpot, or Oracle
- Gather requirements from finance, sales, operations, HR, and customer teams, and translate them into configurations, workflows, and solutions
- Configure and customize systems: fields, workflows, approvals, security roles, reports, and automations
- Design and support integrations between systems using APIs, middleware, and tools such as MuleSoft, Boomi, Workato, Zapier, or Power Automate
- Write SQL queries and build reports and dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, or native tools) that give leaders trustworthy numbers
- Map current and future-state processes, and find where automation and better design can remove manual work
- Lead system implementations, upgrades, data migrations, and releases, including testing, user acceptance, training, and go-live support
- Troubleshoot system issues, find the root cause, and prevent repeat problems
- Manage vendor relationships, license usage, and the roadmap for the platforms you own
- Maintain data quality, access controls, and documentation, and support audits and compliance (SOX, privacy, security reviews)
- Work in Agile or hybrid delivery with developers, architects, and project managers

- Business Systems Analyst II - 2-5 years : Owning a platform or module end to end, leading enhancements and integrations, managing stakeholders, mentoring newer analysts
- Senior Business Systems Analyst - 5+ years : Leading implementations and upgrades, shaping system strategy and roadmap, designing integrations, advising leadership on technology decisions
Promotion criteria are written down at every level, with regular career conversations. Many of our senior analysts have grown into systems architects, product owners, ERP or CRM leads, and IT management roles.
What you bring
Must have
- Understanding of how business processes (order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, hire-to-retire, lead-to-revenue) map to systems
- Strong requirements gathering, documentation, and process mapping skills
- Comfort with data: SQL or advanced Excel, and an eye for numbers that don’t add up
- Clear communication with both business users and technical teams
- Problem-solving mindset and the patience to see a change through testing and rollout
- Degree or diploma in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience. We hire for ability, not just credentials.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada (citizens, permanent residents, and valid work permit holders)
Nice to have (not required)
- Hands-on experience administering or configuring an enterprise platform (Salesforce, NetSuite, SAP, Workday, ServiceNow, Dynamics, or similar)
- Certifications: Salesforce Administrator/Business Analyst, NetSuite, Workday, CBAP, ECBA, PMI-PBA, ITIL, Scrum, or Microsoft Power Platform
- Experience with APIs, integration platforms, or low-code/no-code tools
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar
- Exposure to data migration, ETL, or data governance
- Knowledge of SOX, privacy (PIPEDA), or other compliance requirements
- Industry background in [finance, healthcare, retail, manufacturing, SaaS, logistics, etc.]
- Fluency in French, an asset for roles serving Quebec or bilingual users [if applicable]
