Software Engineer
Boston area; flexible but primarily on-site
We are looking for an early-career engineer who wants to build software that connects AI systems to physical work. You will contribute to AI agents, workflow tools, and evaluation systems used to deploy and improve robotic workflows.
What You May Work On
Build AI agents and workflow tools that turn instructions, demonstrations, and process data into structured, executable robot workflows.
Implement agent planning, tool use, execution tracking, verification, and recovery capabilities using modern language, vision, and multimodal models.
Create evaluation, logging, and debugging tools that make AI and robotic system behavior understandable and actionable.
What We Are Looking For
Evidence of software ability through projects, research, open-source work, professional experience, or independent products.
Experience building with AI models, agent frameworks, APIs, databases, or backend services.
The ability to learn unfamiliar systems quickly and debug problems across models, software, and physical systems without a complete specification.
Applicants should indicate the kinds of systems they want to own and develop.
Who this is for
Early-career software engineers with evidence of shipped systems, AI model and agent framework experience, and the ability to debug across models, software, and physical systems.
