The NSL Teacher will implement a shared vision consistent with the principles of Catholic Education and integrate the Catholic Graduate Expectations and Seven Grandfather teachings within the curriculum. The teacher will also be responsible for fostering a positive learning environment for students.
Requirements
Candidates must be current members in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers and possess Primary/Junior/Intermediate qualifications. Fluency in Ojibwe, both oral and written, is preferred, along with successful completion of safety training courses and a satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check.

Salary: $58,977-$119,939 as per OECTA Collective Agreement

Position Qualifications
Current member in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers Primary/Junior/Intermediate Qualifications
Fluent in Ojibwe, both oral and written is preferred *
An ability to implement a shared vision consistent with the principals of Catholic Education, integrating the Catholic Graduate Expectations and Seven Grandfather teachings within the curriculum *

Copy of Ontario College of Teachers - Certification of Qualification or letter of successful completion of an educational program if OCT pending
Most recent LTO evaluation or most recent appraisal, if available

Successful completion of all Safety training courses
Must undergo a successful vulnerable sector check
